PINWHEELS FOR PREVENTION
Sampson County's new Child Advocacy Center hosted an awareness event on April 2, 2015, in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Several agencies were present and pinwheels were planted to represent children affected by child abuse and those being only the ones reported.
Anti-Bullying Coloring Contest
Clement Elementary School hosted a Safety/Health Fair on March , 2015. During this event U Care was present as well as other agencies, county and state law enforcement and many others. An Anti-Bullying Coloring Contest was participated in by many of the students in the school the following week before Spring Break. At the return of school six pictures were selected and those participants were awarded Easter Baskets. The pictures are being displayed at the Clinton Bee Hive Thrift Store.
